Our gorgeous cottage is well equipped, and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms it provides the perfect accommodation for four in the Peak District – whether it be a family, two couples or friends.

As parents,we’ve made it easy for families with children to travel too, which is why we have a separate airbed, next to me crib, two travel cots, along with a number of baby items, such as stairgates, baby baths, bumbo chair, high chairs, toys & more, available to use for free.

We want to make it as easy and stress-free as possible to holiday. The cottage has nearby parking, is well equipped with both essentials and helpful items you may forget to bring, and is tastefully decorated to feel like home (as many guests tell us!), so get comfy and relax into your stay.

And whether you want to head out and tackle Chrome Hill (“Dragonsback”) one day, wander around Dovedale or Thor’s Cave, take the bikes out along the Tissington Travel, or climb up the Roaches it’s all in easy reach.

 Verified The Bakehouse was a perfect retreat in the middle of the Peak District. The log burner was cosy, the bath was relaxing and the pizza oven was a great addition to the stay! The Bakehouse was perfectly equipped and homely for ourselves and our four legged friend! The location was great and offered us some fantastic walks in the Peak District. The cottage has everything you want and more plus it’s the most well documented Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. All questions you may have are easily answered.
